The tooth edges have been beveled to increase belt life and then hard anodized to ensure strength and longevity. Precise degree markings are then laser etched onto the cam gear to assist in the tuning of engines. To finish, Kelford Cams have used high quality fasteners and a heli-coil thread insert in the ring gear to allow enough toque to be applied while tightening fasteners.
